Getting Started (Step One) Step #1 - Download Your Website After downloading, locate the folder and unzip it. Remember where the unzipped folder is, and proceed. (please note that you can obtain a FREE zip program near the bottom of this page if your computer does not already have one installed) If you do not have a zip program and must install the free one below, Make certain to return here next to complete the step above. Step #2 - Download Your eBooks Click the link below to download your sampling ebooks. After they download, locate the zipped folder called products.zip and unzip the folder. You can either choose to unzip it straight into the empty product folder found in your main Websites folder. Or you can simply unzip it to your desktop and drag or copy it into the products folder. Be certain to extract them all into the empty "products" folder that is found in your Website's main folder. That is very important, because that will keep the Website in the proper directory which will prevent broken links After downloading your FREE Ebooks, they need to be unzipped and installed in the main website folder. Unlike the Ebooks above that went into the Products folder....THESE JUST GO STRAIGHT INTO THE MAIN WEBSITE FOLDER Step #3 - Select A Good Domain Name Now that you have all of the tools, its time to think about using them The first step to getting your site Online is to purchase a really good Domain name. When selecting a name keep the following recommendations in mind, avoid hyphens, long names, hard to remember names, try to use key words that pertain to digital info, ebooks, software, etc. Step #4 - Purchase Web Hosting Obviously, you do not have to use the providers listed above, however, I recommend them because I personally use them all and have for several years. So I will be able to assist you in any problems that may occur if you choose to use them. Also like I said, I will be much more able to help you if you purchase hosting through my links because I am very familiar with their programs.
